Whole30 Condiment Round-up!

Are you gearing up for a Whole30 and planning ahead for quick and easy items to have on hand?

Don't forget the condiments!

Homemade condiments are easier than you think and can help add variety to your meals in a pinch.

There are so many Whole30 approved condiments out there so if making your own doesn't interest you don't be discouraged, however I hope you'll try to make at least 1.

Here are the recipes for 3 of my favorite Whole30 approved condiments, mayo, ranch and mustard sauce. I always have these on hand even when I'm not on a Whole30 because they're that good!

Use the mayo for a quick tuna or egg salad, ranch for salad dressing or veggie dip and mustard sauce to top your favorite protein. The possibilities are endless.

I hope you enjoy these recipes, I'd love to see how you're using them.

All of these recipe instructions use an immersion blender with a wide mouth mason jar or immersion blender cup. Start with the immersion blender at the bottom and slowly rise up for them to emulsify.

You can make these in a regular blender/food processor, but for the mayo and ranch you would need to start with an additional ¼ cup olive oil first with the ingredients and then slowly drizzle in the cup of oil in order to get the mixture to emulsify!

Whole30 ranch dressing

Ingredients

1 cup light tasting olive oil (can sub avocado oil- do not use extra virgin olive oil)

1 large egg

2 Tbsp lemon juice

3 Tbsp Unsweetened coconut milk (can sub any unsweetened nut milk of choice)

2 tsp dried chives

2 tsp dried parsley

1 tsp onion powder

½ tsp garlic powder

1 tsp dried dill

½ tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

· Start with everything but the almond milk and spices first. As the mixture begins to look like mayo begin slowly raising the blender until it is fully emulsified

· Add your almond milk and spice mixture

· Blend again until fully mixed

· * tip * You will love this ranch, so as you are measuring the spices, measure out a few more and store in a small jar or baggie to use next time!

Whole30 Mayo

Ingredients

1 cup light tasting olive oil (can sub avocado oil- do not use extra virgin olive oil)

1 large egg

2 Tbsp lemon juice

½ tsp dried mustard

½ tsp salt

· Add all of the ingredients to your jar.

· As the mixture begins to thicken slowly begin raising the blender until it is fully emulsified

Whole30 Mustard Sauce

Ingredients

½ cup light tasting olive oil

¼ cup red wine vinegar

2 Tbsp mustard (can be Dijon or spicy brown)

½ tsp garlic powder

4-5 medjool dates, pits removed and chopped

· Add all of the ingredients to your jar and blend until combined

I hope these help you prepare for your whole30 and give you quick and easy meals.
